Patients who have a chronic medical condition and are being managed by their GP under a GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangements are eligible for Medicare rebates for certain allied health services.
All of our team, Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians, are registered with Medicare and able to provide services to patients with subsides in place. While engaged in our service, our allied health practitioners will keep in contact with your GP and provide them with reports that assist in contributing to a comprehensive team care plan.
A Medicare rebate is available for a maximum of five services per patient, each calendar year. Eligible patients only pay the difference between a practitioner’s standard fee, and the Medicare rebate. To access this scheme, have a chat with your GP during your next consultation.
