I've been coming to road to recovery for about 3 years now, and throughout my time I've always had really nice EPs, such as, Tiff, Ali, Joel, all who focus positively on my strength and challenge me to my limits.I have been doing the afternoon Pilates classes on top of these sessions with Joe. Joe's techniques and skills are always really helpful such as what will we be doing and why.

I have been under the highest care & support with my previous & current workplace injuries since 2022 with Joseph Campbell ( & team ) of Road To Recovery Springwood.Not only is Joe highly informative when I have any questions, I'm aware that he and his team continue to up-skill frequently with courses or new treatment options when available.Being quite the long term client, I continue to feel safe, understood, assisted, and encouraged with my weekly sessions which are one-on-one & also now a group power hour.Joe has been (unfortunately) privvy also to my emotional & mental health state multiple times over my ongoing physical recovery and never once has he been anything other than empathetic, helped guide me through panic attacks and at times also helped me with a shared sense of humour to get me through the frustrating & rough times.He and the Team at Road To Recovery Springwood offer multiple methods of physiology/recovery for all different clients and I always see the comfort in others as they are guided by the professionalism & care of the staff.Gratitude beyond 5 ⭐️

I began working with Joe (at the Penrith location) at about 9 months post partum, after being in a big black hole of sleep deprivation and depression and was just wanting to just start some Pilates to get moving again. I have never stuck to a gym in my entire adult life but wanted to give it a try as my post partum recovery both physically and mentally had been really really hard following an incredibly traumatic emergency c-section. After chatting with Joe and doing an assessment we decided that I would benefit from functional classes to gain back some strength as well as some Pilates for mobility. Joining with Joe and the team was the best choice I have ever made for myself! I have developed more strength and improved my mobility, but most importantly within a few weeks I no longer had any pain on my c-section scar, something that had been troubling me since I had my daughter. I was always encouraged and welcomed to bring my daughter along to the classes, where she would (sometimes if she wasn’t being cheeky) sit and play, and all other times she would be carried around and cared for by Joe and Matt giving me the space to do the class. I am incredibly grateful for Joe and the gym as it also has been a huge positive factor for my mental health journey, the gym became a part of my plan in my post partum PTSD plan, and thanks to the gym I have a new found confidence in my body and it’s strength opposed to seeing it as the failure I once thought it was. I would recommend Joe and the services he and his team provide to anyone and the atmosphere and support they provide is the gold star standard in health, fitness and recovery. Thank you Joe.

All staff are really interested in my condition and progress. I have been coming now for 3 years and I am still walking and being able to manage some tasks at home. You will always have a staff member with you throughout your programme and they are there to encourage, assist and help you meet the exercise goal.I would highly recommend Road to Recovery to anybody who is seeking fitness strength through lack of, after an illness or more importantly after corrective surgery.

I have been coming to Road To Recovery for almost 3 years now. When I came along I was very unsteady on my feet due to my disability would often trip over. The exercises that I have been doing have strengthened my legs so that now I am more steady and confident as I walk around.Joe and his team are amazing in their attitude towards clients. They tailor the exercises to suit each individuals. This takes a lot of time and research that they are willing to do so that their clients get the most out of their time there.I have experienced other services that just gave me basic exercises that didn't suit my condition and therefore were ineffective.They demonstrate such a strong care for their clients and are passionate to assist each individual to have a quality of life.I know if it wasn't for Joe and his team my legs would've continued to deteriorate and who knows where I would've been now.

I was advised to reach out to Road to Recovery following surgery for a broken leg and 4 months on crutches. With some trepidation I made that call and began this incredible journey.........
