Road to Recovery Exercise Physiology is a home visit allied health service which provides targeted exercise therapy to you within the comfort of your home and local community. We also have a state-of-the-art allied health clinic located in Springwood which services all of the Blue Mountains region.

Road to Recovery was established to empower and educate individuals to take charge of their health, promoting independence using a home-based setting for your convenience.

Our clinicians are University educated and combine evidence based practice with professional experience to deliver safe and effective exercise programs to target your personal goals.

Our Team

Joseph Campbell | Exercise Physiologists

Our principal Exercise Physiologist Joseph Campbell is a Sydney University graduate with a Bachelor of App Science Exercise Physiology. Joe has worked in multiple private practices and clinical settings including aged/disability care, corporate health and athletic development. Joe is passionate about helping people take control of their health and live a life with less limitations. His special interests include weight training and healthy aging as well as diabetes management.

Joe loves being outdoors, hitting the gym and in his spare time (and every other day) you’ll find Joe with a good coffee in hand!

Holly Goldingay | Exercise Physiologists

Holly Goldingay graduated from Sydney University with a Masters in Exercise Physiology. As one of our senior Exercise Physiologists, Holly has a background in exercise and disability care and enjoys helping people become the best versions of themselves through exercise and physical activity. Holly is s self-described ‘foodie’ and spends her weekends adventuring to local farmers markets or relaxing with a cheese board and wine in hand. Holly’s special interests include Pilates and hydrotherapy, keep an eye out for her at Springwood Aquatic Centre!

Amy Davis | Exercise Physiologists

Amy Davis is one of our senior Exercise Physiologists and a graduate from Sydney University. Amy has experience across a variety of clinical settings from private practice, to dementia research and workplace rehabilitation. Amy is an advocate for the benefits of resistance training in elderly Australians and is passionate about keeping people on their feet and enjoying their lives. Amy loves adventuring in the Blue Mts, enjoying a good coffee and being involved in CrossFit with friends.

Rebecca Badman | Exercise Physiologist

Rebecca is a Sydney University graduate with a Masters in Exercise Physiology. Rebecca also has numerous years experience in the disability sector and understands the benefits and importance of exercise in people with disabilities. She understands that everyone has their own heath journey and what works for one person may not for another. Rebecca is a local to the Blue Mountains area and a familiar face to many in the Springwood & Winmalee area. Her special interests include working with cardiovascular rehabilitation, mental health and healthy ageing.

Poppy Attlessey | Exercise Physiologist

Poppy Attlesey graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters in Exercise Physiology. Poppy has extensive knowledge in chronic disease management and experience working with clients with complex conditions and disabilities. Poppy is passionate about making exercise an enjoyable part of everyone’s lifestyle and aims to help clients find both exercise that is appropriate and fun for them. Poppy has a special interest in cardiovascular rehabilitation, as well as working with children and developing adolescents. Poppy has recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne, so she loves spending time outdoors exploring her new home and walking her 2 dogs!

We service all areas of Sydney from the Inner West, North Shore, Hills, Parramatta, Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
